The Whiskey Place Offers Lots of Single Malt Scotches

I love single malt scotch from the Whiskey Place. It is so delicious when with a few ice cubes and a good friend. It relaxes and replenishes the body. There are so many varieties of single malt scotch whiskey. There is Balvenie, and Glenrothes and Talisker and Laphroaig, and Glenfiddich and Macallan scotch. There is something so adult about knowing the taste, the flavors, the varieties, and finding a new favorite. To find a new one of your own, visit The Whiskey Place.

ClassicHostess.com Has Great Cake Stands

I run a bakery, and luckily, I know how important presentation is. I bought a handful of fancy glass and wedding cake stands from ClassicHostess.com — not so fancy, however, that they detract from the cakes themselves. It’s the little things, in my opinion, that really complete a room’s general decor, and my shop’s never looked better, if I do say so myself.

Living Gluten-Free’s Not So Bad

Being allergic to gluten as a kid was awful — I couldn’t eat hardly any of the same desserts my brother and sisters did, and they always lorded it over me. Gluten was — and still is — virtually everything, but back then, there weren’t nearly as many places that specialized in gluten-free breads and gluten-free desserts. One of my favorite treats is the gluten-free cookies at Heaven Mills, especially the vanilla sprinkle and honey cookies. Plus, I live far more healthily today than my siblings ever did!

Buy Quality Kosher Meat Online

I’d been looking for a good Kosher meat store online for ages, but with no success – they’re hard to come by. Finally, I discovered KosherMeatStore.com, a great online butcher that specializes in Kosher chicken, beef, veal, lamb, turkey and more. I couldn’t be happier! The best thing about the store is the range of deli products – the smoked turkey breast, pastrami, and corned beef are perfect for my kids’ sandwiches. Shop online today and get your meat delivered tomorrow!

A Morning With Golden Roast Coffee

I fill the canister with gourmet ground coffee, and add water to the pot. I hear the sizzle as the coffee machine begins to work. The smell of roasted coffee – a scent completely unique, like churned earth, or an Andean morning, a smell of plants and animals living together in harmony – entirely fills the room. I pour the coffee into a cup after it is finished brewing, blow on it, and take a first sip. My eyes widen, the blood begins flowing into my fingers and toes, and I suddenly feel alive. All thanks to Golden Roast Coffee.

Just Because You’re Traveling, Doesn’t Mean You Can’t Eat Kosher!

I was on a long business trip to the Philippines and for the most part, I was pretty excited. The only thing worrying me was the food. There was no way I was going to be able to find delicious kosher meals in this exotic country. I had a friend suggest that I try Schick’s kosher travel meals. I went online, saw the delicious options and purchased enough to tie me over on my long trip. Just when I started to get a little homesick, I cooked up one my kosher packaged meals and immediately felt better.

Luck Chen is the Asian Noodle Bowl for Me

Asian noodles are good, especially on a cold rainy night. But all that grease is really unhealthy. And what if you want an asian noodle bowl on a hot summer day? There’s gotta be a better way. It’s called Luck Chen instant noodles. But these noodles aren’t your stereotypical instant noodles. Oh no. They are actually delicious and good for you. I’m not just saying that they’re delicious –they are fresh tasting, aren’t dehydrated, and indeed, are healthy. Low sodium, fat, and no cholesterol means that Luck Chen is the noodle to enjoy, any time.

Cook up a storm with Kosher food recipes from Kosherista.com

I absolutely love Kosherista.com! They have the most amazingly delicious Kosher recipes and recipes for Passover, and new recipes get added all the time. I’ve tried out loads of recipes so far. My favorites are the fried onion rings which are super easy to make, the vanilla brownies packed with nuts, and the spaghetti lasagna which can be prepared well in advance – perfect for when you have friends over to dinner!
